Nadia Kabbani, MS, OTR/L

Nadia is honored to be a part of the Children’s Therapy of Woodinville Team. She earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, from the University of Puget Sound in 2016. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, from the University of Washington.

Nadia has been working with children for most of her life, as a babysitter, camp counselor, teacher’s aide, mentor, and volunteer with special needs and typically developing children of all ages. During her undergraduate studies, Nadia volunteered at a developmental preschool, where she was first exposed to Occupational Therapy. She became passionate about the holistic approach, and strives to incorporate compassion, creativity, and input from family and team members into each session. She believes in the importance learning through play and encouraging child-directed activities as often as possible. Nadia has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, genetic disorders, developmental delays, anxiety, and behavioral disorders.

Her professional interests include Executive Functioning, kinesthetic learning, Neurodevelopmental Rehabilitation, and sensorimotor play. Nadia is a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and Washington Occupational Therapy Association.

In her free time, Nadia enjoys exploring her neighborhood while listening to an interesting podcast or audiobook. She loves trivia and trying new recipes for her friends and family.
