Marla Ambrose MA, CCC-SLP
Marla Ambrose received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University. She has provided therapeutic speech/language services for the last 11 years in a variety of settings, which include: outpatient rehabilitation, sensory integration centers, public schools, and early intervention for the 0-3 population. Marla enjoys diagnostic and intervention services for children with speech, language, social communication and feeding difficulties. The majority of Marla’s postmaster’s education has focused on Apraxia of Speech, Augmentative Communication, Sensory Integration Disorders, and sensory-oral motor feeding disorders. She has obtained additional training through specialized courses including: PROMPT therapy; Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S); Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach; Beckman Oral Motor Protocol; Social Thinking for Pragmatic Language Disorders; Apraxia of Speech; and Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders; Articulation/phonology disorders; and assessment/use of AAC devices. She is currently working towards a certification in Craniosacral Therapy. Marla is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
