Allison Hunt, MSOT, OTR/L

 

Allison is a skilled and thoughtful Occupational Therapist with a career dedicated to pediatrics. She is passionate about sensory processing, sound programs such as iLs and the Safe and Sound Protocol, nervous system health, trauma-informed care and continues to develop her skills in these areas.
 
Allison joined the Children’s Therapy of Woodinville team back in November of 2018.  She completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Dominican University of California. Allison enriched her professional journey with a valuable international experience, having worked in a clinic in Sydney, Australia. After her time abroad, she returned to continue her impactful work at Children’s Therapy of Woodinville.
 
Allison has experience working with children who have physical and intellectual disabilities, sensory processing difficulties, Autism, Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD and Dyspraxia as well as difficulties with routine activities such as meal time, feeding and sleep challenges. She has completed further training in the iLs and SSP programs. Allison is family focused in her approach to therapy, valuing the involvement of all significant members in the child’s life.
 
As a child Allison would go to work with her mother, a pediatric OT any chance that she could get, which inspired her to become an Occupational Therapist.
