Taylor Sheldrick

Taylor (she/her) grew up in Seattle, Washington and moved to California when she was recruited to the California State University, Fullerton NCAA Gymnastics team. She earned her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stanbridge University where she participated in a study that determined the effectiveness of Scuba Diving paired with Occupational Therapy on Veterans diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She has a background as an Early Childhood Specialist teaching children between the ages of 18 months to 4 years and has always known her love for the pediatric setting.

Taylor worked as a pediatric OT in a private clinic in Southern California and she recently moved back to Washington to be close to family. She has experience working with children with diagnoses including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delay and Feeding Difficulties. Taylor has completed specialized training in Sensory Integration, Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) sound intervention, a variety of Feeding Approaches and Primitive Reflex Integration.  Taylor participated as a data collector for The STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder to support the Sensory Processing Three Dimensions Scale (SP3D) Standardized Project. Taylor enjoys collaborating with families and providing clear and educational home programs to further progress toward client and family goals.

Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two young children and dog, as well as training for half marathons, hiking, and traveling.
